The Love Others Team met on March 22, 2012

The meeting was attended by: Lynn Clements, Amy Langston & Lisa Thomas.

Discussion included:

1. Education Items:•

•Palm Sunday Children’s Processional – 11:00 Worship

•Easter Egg Hunt – April 7, 10:00 a.m.

•Last day of Kid’s Praise & 56 Degrees is April 29. Resume in the fall.

•Children’s Sunday – May 6^th

•Graduate Recognition Sunday – May 20.

•Last day for Children’s Church is May 27. Resume in the fall.

•Summer Sunday School begins June 3.

•Restructure S.S. for the fall. New curriculum and new ideas.

•Vacation Bible School – July 16-20^th. Market Place 29 A.D. – “A Bible Times Experience.”

•MAD Camp – Date to be set by Kathy Love.

2. Adult Class at Portland will be April 26^th from 6:30–8:00 PM.

Vonita Kelly will lead the class on the topic of “Healthy Relationships.” The school office will help us collect registration forms. Childcare will be provided by church volunteers. Refreshments will be served.

Marketplace 29 A.D. – A Bible Adventure!

July 16-20 – 6-8:30pm

Come join us in July when Asbury will be transformed into a Biblical market place where children will relive events that took place back in Bible times! Children will explore shops such as the baker, carpenter, potter and makers of brick, jewelry, candy & instruments. There will be Bible stories, songs and special guests!
