Pray for Renate who is the Director of the Douglas Head Start center as she helps the staff, students, and families deal with the loss of Shayla Portner.
Please pray for peace and healing for the Portner family, and the Douglas Head Start staff who are dealing with the sudden and unexpected death of a young mother, wife,and co-worker. Shayla was one of my staff members as is her husband Billy, they have 3 very young children.
Shannon Cathey has a good friend who is in the hospital with pre-eclampsia. The baby is due in January so they are trying to hold off its birth as long as possible. The couple lost their first baby, so are very worried.
A very close friend of my step-moms is a breast cancer surviver but is now having heart problems. She had a triple bypass surgery and had a valve fixed which took 8 hours. She is holding on but her heart isn't pumping correct.
All of the test I have had have been negative! I don't know what the next step is so please pray for that too. Thank you for your prayers and concerns.
Ian was hit by a drunk driver on Wednesday night. He has aches & pains but it could have been so much worse. Kevin & I are so thankful that he was not injured, and know that the Lord was protecting him. Please help him get through the anxiety he is feeling with this experience.
Prayers for Janet Wreath and family on the death of Janet's brother. He was killed when his motorcycle hit a deer as he was on a ride with other bikers collecting Toys for Tots.
