Elizabeth Leteux asks for prayers for her family. Her sister Mary Ruth Marler suffered a massive stroke, her kidneys have begun to shut down and there is no hope of recovery. Elizabeth will make the 8 hour trip to Iowa to be with her sister and family.
Thank you for your prayers, Billie's MRI came back clear and the EEG did show signs of a seizure. She is being dismissed this evening from the hospital, and they are starting her on seizure medication.
Billie was rushed to the hospital today after sitting down to drink a glass of water she started convulsing and passed out when the paramedics got there she was awake but couldn't feel one side of her body please keep her in your prayers she is at cox south hospital
My Daughter-in-law Billie, Hospitalized Tuesday for tests and Diagnosis.

Edith Johnston's family would like to invite all Asbury friends to her 97th birthday party which will be held at "The Gardens" on Sunday, Februry 28,2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Jacob Bryant was in a car accident this morning. He is in neuro trama at Cox. His mom, Kristi, is a good friend and co-worker of mine. She has visited Asbury with me. Jacob is 22. Please pray for Jacob and their whole family, as well as the medical personnel who are caring for him.
Thank you all for your prayers for my aunt who was battling cancer. She passed away at 430 this morning. It's a relief to know that she will now be free from pain and suffering.
May God bless two friends, their friendship, their service and study of Scripture together. Please reconcile them to each other and to you, O Lord. Pour your love over them, O Lord.

Everyone is Home
Wanted to let everyone know that Dennis, Peggy, Dorothy, and Mark all made it home last at 1:30 a.m. Thanks for the prayers.
I wanted to update everyone that Dennis, Peggy, Mark, and Dorothy are in the US. They are in Memphis, the plane is having some sort of mechanical problems now. Hoping they get figured out so they can come home in the morning. THanks for the prayers so far, please keep them coming until they are completly home safe and sound.
Bryan Fleming's grandfather, Ron, died early Sunday morning. Ron was a Cumberland Presbyterian pastor who was a part of Asbury for several years when he was between churches. He taught the Harmony Class and was a joyful presence in our church.

Joel Coberly died last Friday. His service will be Saturday, Feb. 13, 1:30 at Herman Lohmeyer Funeral Home. Joel was a longtime member. In his active days his handiman skills helped keep our Portland & Grant building in good shape.
Please pray for Scott Gathright, who is our step grandson's dad. He has melanoma cancer and also MS. The MS makes it very difficult to treat the cancer. Please lift him and his family in your prayers
I asked prayers for my aunt in the past...she had lung cancer. Her cancer has now spread to both lungs, her spine, and brain. She has an enviable amount of faith in God...I pray for strength, peace, comfort, and for her children.
Tori does competitive gymnastics...during her routine tonight she fell and hit her head and hurt her ankle. She had to be carried off the mat and is currently in the emergency room. Please pray for healing and for her...she's 11 and very scared.
I would like request prayers for a friend of mine, Juanita Lowry from Bolivar. Juanita had a massive heart attack this morning, did not have oxygen for at least eight minutes and as of this writing, she is not expected to make it through the night.
