I get distracted by the "routine" of church, and find it helpful to worship "out of context" sometimes. So last night I sang the Doxology (Praise God from whom all blessings flow...) to myself in my head. It made me stop and really think about the words. Maybe I will pay more attention to the words next Sunday in church, as well!!!
Yes..... I agree. To be in worship outside the Church Building is very helpful to me. Some of the most meaningful times in my life have been sharing Communion around the campfire at Family Camp.
