from Suzanne Boyts: our neighbor, Dian, is in the hospital in ICU with a ventilator. She had hernia surgery, and she got worse and turns out the doctor punctured her bowel! Her kidneys started to fail. They are better, but she had a mild heart attack from it all. Just pray she will be all right.

Landon Troy was born 2/1/12 – 7 lbs 3 oz He is the newborn son of my nephew Lee & his wife Danae. Landon has had surgery on his spinal cord already and there is some fluid collecting around his brain. But all in all he is doing much better than expected. He is breathing on his own.

Our son, David, had an accident at work last week. His arm was submerged in the hot grease in the fryer. He has an appointment this afternoon (January 23) at 2:00 to see if he will need any skin grafts.

Prayers are requested for Danny and his wife due to the volatile situation with Joe, their 24 year old son that is living in their home. Danny wants to turn him out for fear of harm that he might inflict. Please pray for them that God will lead them to the right decision.

Please pray for my nephew and his wife, Lee & Danae. They are 7 mos pregnant and the baby has severe brain and spinal cord defects on ultrasound. They are missionaries in Haiti, so Danae is in the States with her folks, and Lee is still in Haiti until closer to the baby’s birth. Thank you for your prayers.

I went to the endronologist on Tuesday and he is running blood test for 2 other diseases that is caused by a high pituitary gland hormone/tumor. If any of those 2 test come back positive they will have to send me to the neurosurgeon to take the tumor out. If they come back negative, they will just try medicine for 3-4 weeks and then do another blood test to see if the level has gone down, if it has they will continue the medicine regiman and test every so often. If the medicine does not work they will try and squeeze in surgery during the last 2 weeks of december. They are also running A1C blood test because the elevated pituitary hormone/tumer can cause the onset of diabetes. Thanks for all the prayers.

Prayers for Loyd Morlan. They got a call this morning to go to St. Louis for surgery this Friday. He will have his bladder & prostate removed.

A joy. Lexie & Nick Andrews had a little girl Tuesday. Melody Faith weighed 7 lbs. 9 ozs and was 20 inches.
